Dorie Shapiro
As a young adult with Usher 1F, Dorie Shapiro has been a tireless and enthusiastic advocate for Usher 1F Collaborative, working with us to raise funds for a cure, including holding multiple fundraisers on her own. In her position as Usher 1F Ambassador, she serves as a liaison between the Usher 1F patient community and families with the researchers and the Board of Directors. Her family has been a major supporter of our work, and her late mom, Laurie, was one of our first board members and served on our board for nine years. Dorie works as VP, Customer Experience, XRAI Glass.
