Jared Root
Jared has been a Senior Account Manager at Ideal Fastener Corporation for the past 15 years, solely responsible for introducing products and services to Global Apparel brands. Jared’s son Zachary was born profoundly deaf and, since his birth, Jared has spent his time raising funds for the Hearing Loss Association of America and Summit Speech School. Once Zachary was diagnosed with Usher 1F, Jared directed all his attention to spreading awareness and raising funds specifically for Usher 1F. Jared is the founder of Sight.Sound.Cycle, the biggest fundraiser for Usher 1F. Jared is an active member of the Men’s club at Congregation Agudath Israel, just recently organizing the club's largest event in the past ten years. Jared graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Business Administration. Jared lives in New Jersey with his wife, Rachel, and two children, one of whom has Usher Syndrome type 1F.
